First Equifax now Capital One. On Monday, Capital One announced that a Seattle woman hacked into their systems and gained access to over 100 million credit card applications, and the hacker acquired thousands of Social Security and bank account numbers investigators say. Amazon’s Ring is 12, the boys, the Johnnies, them people, One time, 5-0. Mannnn, Amazon is the police. A new report released by the Motherboard is showing Amazon’s home surveillance company Ring has partnered with over 200 U.S. police departments. The email and notes from a chief of police detailing how they use the information can be found here.
In a rare unanimous decision by a jury to decide against a major artist like Katy Perry has been long overdue. Christian rapper Flame’s 2009 song was copied by Perry in her 2013 hit song “Dark Horse,” which tore through the charts. Now she and her big shot producers have to pay for it. Read full story here.
Trump once again is doubling down on Twitter after his remarks attacking the City of Baltimore and calling it a “rat-infested mess.” On Monday, Trump called Rep. David T. Logan was allegedly beaten by Yolobusha County police officers. Civil Rights and criminal defense attorney Carlos Moore has been retained by Mr. Logan. Moore asserts that his client was brutally beaten, unjustly, while handcuffed. This all stems from what Sheriff Humphreys says was caused by Mr. Logan “resisting and kicking” officers.
