The road to the title is paved with grit, teamwork, and Black excellence—and the 2025 SWAC Softball Championship is no exception. Hosted at the Gulfport Sportsplex in Gulfport, Mississippi, this year’s tournament promises high energy, fierce competition, and undeniable HBCU pride.

From Tuesday, May 6 through Friday, May 9, the SWAC’s top women’s softball programs go head-to-head in a double-elimination bracket for a chance at conference glory. And if necessary, a winner-take-all championship game will be held Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. CST.
